Teaching Philosophy:

Sound first.  The tone of the trumpet is what brings people in.  From dark and warm, all the way to bright and loud squeals, the trumpet player can master any genre, if they have mastered their own tone.

Cultivating a strong fundamental background, rooted in the development of one’s tone, is where I believe a great trumpet player is created.
